Yahoo! POP3 Account

July 1, 2008

Upon browsing yahoo, i found this setup interesting. So, if youre using Eudora, Outlook, Netscape or other pop3 client. This one is for you.

So to start with, follow this..

Server Settings:

Incoming Mail Server (POP3):  pop.mail.yahoo.com
                                                       Use SSL, port: 995

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):  smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication

Account Name/Username:       username@yahoo.com
Email address:                           username@yahoo.com
Password:                                  Your Yahoo! Mail password

And thats it!
